It would be great if we could get shipping prices from the API. Passing in the book quantity and destination country and getting an array back with shipping method, price and if it's tracked or not would be absolutely fantastic.
This will be another part of our e-commerce APIs. We are aware of the need, and are currently looking at how we can satisfy the requirements. We'll keep you posted.
I was wondering how the shipping API is developing. I'm trying to reverse engineer the shipping costs on the lulu checkout page,
but it's no fun... :-) Is there any other approximate way of calculation, or a timeframe for the API?
Good news and bad news on this front. First, our order ingestion API is a little delayed (I'm hoping to post a blog tomorrow with more details). The shipping cost API is currently in QA, and the two APIs should launch together. I'll know more in a few days when I get out of a couple of full-day meetings.
As part of releasing the shipping cost API, we are also going to document our Shipping calculations in the documentation. Look for more details in the next few days/week.

I need books for my API work. I was sent some books since 2004 but yet to arrive.
