We're new to lulu and before subscribing to the API, we want to check whether it will enable us to design the application we need. Our website allows our users to generate contents: write text articles, upload pictures to create albums, input data to generate charts, etc. We want to provide our users with a tool to edit and print books based on the contents they have already generated on our website.
Does the API developed by lulu offer a solution for us to design such a tool? In other words, can we, using lulu, integrate in our website a solution for customers to edit and print books with already created contents?

If you are generating either a PDF or EPUB, then you can use our API to create a book (or eBook in the case of EPUB) available for sale on Lulu. We require that you upload two files (interior and cover) and then create the book using those files and some metadata. We also have a document conversion API that can create a PDF or EPUB from some other formats (DOCX, RTF) if needed.
What format do you use to store your user-generated content?
I guess it does not matter, as long as you create applications that do not violate the TOS of LULU, if your application is a kind of automatic content engine?
