Introduction

Introduction

This technical guide is intended for developers seeking to integrate Lulu functionality into their web sites and business processes.  At this time, each API provided by Lulu is distinct from the other APIs.  We are committed to retaining backwards compatibility for all APIs for as long as possible.

To get started using our API, sign up for a developer account.  During this process, you are prompted to register an application and apply for API keys (one key per distinct Lulu API). Unique keys for your application will be sent to you.  Keys are tied exclusively to the Application for which they were issued. You may not apply or reuse Keys across multiple Applications, or in any way make use of a Key except in association with the Application to which it was originally assigned. See Authentication and Authorization for more information.

For many of our APIs, Lulu releases client libraries to make using the API easier.  All of these libraries are released under the Apache 2.0 license.  We chose this license to ensure that our libraries can be used by as many companies and people as possible.  Our client libraries can be found on GitHub.
